A native cycle is most similar to a natural cycle – no hormonal drugs are used to stimulate the ovaries.
The goal of the treatment is to obtain one mature egg, which is subsequently fertilized in laboratory conditions by the ICSI (or PICSI) method and, if appropriate, assisted hatching (AH).
With minimal stimulation, low doses of stimulant drugs are used. It is therefore a matter of hormonal stimulation, when the dosage of drugs is set to minimum values. The goal of the treatment is to obtain 2 to 5 mature eggs. The next procedure is the same as for the native cycle – see above.
With both of these methods, it is advisable to use alternative support methods from different areas of medicine. Among other things, they can help you in establishing hormonal and psychological balance, which is a very important aspect of treatment.
